A member of the Project Logistics Alliance from the Philippines, Nonpareil International Freight and Cargo Services, recently took part in the delivery of one unit of Caterpillar D6R tractor along with its accessories from the Philippines to Sydney, Australia.

The cargo occupied a volume of 69.93 cubic meters and weighed 19.5 tons in total with a dimension of 6.5 x 3.26 x 3.3 meters.

The operation commenced on June 16, 2023, with the availability and pick-up of the container, and continued until June 25, 2023, when the shipment was set to embark on the LCT vessel. The timeline included several critical stages, such as local transport, unloading from the local truck, loading onto a 40-foot flat-rack container, lashing and securing the cargo, and finally, tarpaulin/canvassing and escorting to the Port of Batangas.

Upon arrival at the Port of Batangas, the subsequent phases, including FSI, arrastre (stevedoring), and gate-in operations, were meticulously handled from June 22, 2023, to June 23, 2023. These vital processes guaranteed that the Caterpillar D6R track-type tractor was securely loaded onto the LCT vessel, setting the stage for a smooth and efficient journey across the open seas.

This success highlighted Nonpareil’s capability to conduct safety measures and coordinate smooth transport. Congratulations to the team at Nonpareil for another remarkable achievement.
