Comments Off on DEME CFO to leave the company in spring 2024Els Verbraecken, DEMEās Chief Financial Officer, has decided to take a next step in her professional career and will leave DEME in the spring of 2024.
Els Verbraecken joined DEME in 2002 and has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the group in 2013. Throughout her time at DEME, as CFO, head of DEMEās Finance community and key member of DEMEās Executive Committee and Management Team, she has been instrumental in DEMEās continued business development, global strategic growth and, more recently, its stock-listing.
DEME has started the process for the selection of a new CFO, that provides for a secure and stable transition.
Until Spring 2024, Els Verbraecken will continue her tasks of CFO and act as mentor and coach to her successor in view of a seamless hand-over of responsibilities. Although Els will stay on board at DEME during the transition period and work with the teams and with all other stakeholders towards a stable transition, we already want to thank her for her relentless contributions, milestone achievements and for being an exemplary ambassador of our āOne DEME, One Teamā spirit, clearly reflected in her commitment to ensure a successful succession.
