CEVA strengthens partnership with Magneti Marelli

CEVA Logistics, a global leader in third-party logistics, has reinforced its long-standing collaboration with Magneti Marelli Parts & Services through the renewal of two key contracts in Italy and Poland.

These agreements, extending operations for another six and five years respectively, underline CEVA’s commitment to providing innovative and efficient logistics solutions to the automotive industry.

In Italy, CEVA Logistics has extended its long-standing partnership with Magneti Marelli Parts & Services (since 1993) for another six years, ensuring the seamless storage and distribution of spare automotive parts for workshops and independent dealers. The operations will continue to be managed from CEVA’s 30,000 m² warehouse in San Pietro Mosezzo (Novara), with an annual handling capacity of approximately 33,000 spare parts, 50,000 pallets and 120,000 shipments.

In addition to the central warehouse, the contract renewal includes the management of two local warehouses in Pero (Milan) and Padova (Venice), dedicated to high-turnover spare parts that often carry urgent delivery requirements. These logistics centers will enable widespread and timely distribution.

CEVA Logistics in Poland extended its agreement with Magneti Marelli Parts & Services (since 2004) for another 5 years, securing its role as the logistics provider for the company’s distribution center in Sosnowiec until 2029. The facility, one of Magneti Marelli Parts & Services’ largest logistics hubs in Europe, serves customers across 27 countries, including Eastern Europe and the growing Central Asian markets.

As part of the renewed contract, the warehouse space, which functioned as a multi-user facility until 2024, will now be dedicated exclusively to Magneti Marelli Parts & Services’ operations, enhancing efficiency and reducing operational errors. CEVA has also introduced modern logistics solutions, including:

A covered outdoor storage area for specific materials, including refrigerant gases for air conditioning systems
These improvements will enable CEVA to manage over 50,000 product references with increased speed, reliability and optimized inventory control.

Located in the Panattoni Logistics Park, the Magneti Marelli Parts & Services distribution center is strategically located due to its close proximity to the expressway and highway network. This ensures quick access to markets served by the warehouse, improves cooperation with carriers and key customers, and enables optimized deliveries, both standard and express.
