Third-party logistics expert Rhenus Warehousing Solutions UK has announced the promotion of Mike Gamble to Managing Director effective from January 2024.

He will succeed Kerry Delaney who decided to leave the company at the end of 2023.

Mike was previously the Senior Director of Operations for Rhenus Warehousing Solutions UK and has worked in the logistics industry for almost 40 years, the last 15 characterised by leading capital investment initiatives in Greenfield sites and automation projects. Mike was recruited by Rhenus in 2021 to deliver the ‘Rhenus Campus’ in Nuneaton, a development of a million square foot of BREEAM Outstanding warehousing.

In his new role, Mike will be leading the growth and expansion of Rhenus Warehousing Solutions UK and is responsible for the company’s five shared-user distribution centres in Lutterworth and Nuneaton.

Commenting on his promotion, Mike said: “The last two years with Rhenus have been the most enjoyable of my career. The opportunities ahead are both challenging and exciting and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with the team to continue delivering great results and to grow the business.”

Rhenus Warehousing Solutions UK specialises in contract logistics for retail, wholesale and ecommerce warehousing and distribution. It offers its customers a personalised service and prides itself on building strong relationships.
