PLA are introducing UAB Nurminen Maritime representing Lithuania, as the latest Project Logistics Alliance community member.

Established in Lithuania in 2004, UAB Nurminen Maritime offers effective and quality services in the Baltics. As a subsidiary of the long-standing Finnish company Nurminen Logistics, which was founded in 1886, UAB Nurminen Maritime excels in the intricate logistics of project cargo and multimodal cargo deliveries.

UAB Nurminen Maritime provides comprehensive transportation solutions, seamlessly combining sea, rail, and road transport to move goods from any location worldwide. In particular, they are able to handle cargo to Central Asia or the Caucasus region via the Baltics. By leveraging their extensive experience and network, they ensure efficient and reliable service delivery, catering to a diverse range of logistical needs on a global scale.

Their key services include: Project Cargo – Overweight and Oversized Cargo for a diverse range of industries;
Multimodal Transportation – sea, rail and road; Rail Freight – European and Asian rail transport; Door-to-Door delivery; Loading and Transhipment Services; Warehousing; Ship Agency; Cargo Survey and Cargo Insurance.

In addition, Nurminen Maritime also represents Cosco Shipping in Lithuania. This allows them to offer competitive containerized cargo services on a “door to door” basis inside Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and CIS Countries.
