Hiab transforms defence logistics
0Hiab, part of Cargotec, announces the launch of the new MULTILIFT TALON – an advanced container handling unit designed to transform logistics for defence forces operating in the most demanding environments making operations smarter, safer and faster.
The MULTILIFT TALON offers an unmatched combination of speed, safety, and efficiency. Built on proven technology, the system enables seamless transitions between Flatrack and ISO Container modes directly from within the vehicle cab, enhancing operational efficiency. Its integration of cutting-edge automation and Hiab’s HiVision technology allows a single operator to control all loading/unloading processes from the safety of the cabin, minimising human error and reducing cycle times significantly.
“The MULTILIFT TALON represents a new standard for defence logistics. It combines battle-tested reliability with advanced technological features, ensuring the forces have the agility and safety they need on the ground,” says Frank van Dongen, Director of Government Business Operations (GBO), Hiab.
