CEVA delivers employee-donated items to support families in Thailand
0CEVA Logistics has completed a heartfelt Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, bringing together employee donations from Singapore and Thailand to benefit Children of the Forest, an organization that supports vulnerable children and families in Sangklabur, Thailand, through programs focused on education and free healthcare.
The initiative began in Singapore in early September, followed by a one‑week donation campaign in October that gathered more than 50 cartons of books, clothing and school supplies. These contributions were consolidated and shipped to Thailand, where they were combined with additional donations from the CEVA Logistics team in Thailand before being delivered to Children of the Forest in Kanchanaburi. CEVA tapped into its global network and logistics expertise to ensure the donations reached their destination smoothly. From LCL (Less than Container Load) ocean freight to last mile delivery, every step was carefully planned and executed by teams of employees in Singapore and Thailand. Sustainability was considered throughout the process — including the use of electric vehicles for the ground transport portion of the 380-kilometer journey from Bangkok to Sangklabur.
In total, over 600 kilograms of donated items were delivered to Children of the Forest, providing much‑needed support to children and families in Northwest Thailand. CEVA employees were present to personally distribute the items, underscoring the company’s commitment to community engagement under its Acting for People pillar, one of three pillars of CEVA’s CSR strategy.
