New Logistics Group Technical Director joins Bertling

Bertling are pleased to announce that Urs Schaerer joined as Logistics Group Technical Director.

Urs will work from the Dubai office and is currently in the UK to meet with their teams in London and Middlesbrough. Urs will succeed their valued colleague Mike Hetherington, who will retire at the end of September 2022.

Urs started his career in the 1990s as an engineer for ABB in Switzerland. Since then, he has specialized in heavy transport engineering and his career has taken him around the world. Urs has a passion for technology and its applications to their business activities and as such has been working to develop mobile applications and other innovative technologies for the logistics industry.

Bertling are confident and excited that these initiatives will be introduced to Bertling Logistics and their client offerings in the months and years ahead.
